The explanation I was given was that they have had a hard time finding outside cleaning crew and have had to pay 3 times the regular amount these days. When I showed the GM the photo, she asked me to keep my voice down (I did not raise my voice) so other guests in line didn't hear me. The bloody bed and dirty chair were in the first room, and the dirty towels were in the second room. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. If I could have changed hotels, I would have done so. I ended up stayed in two different rooms. I didn’t arrive with high expectations, but I sure left highly grossed out. I knew we wouldn’t be spending much time there. When I booked the room, all I cared about was cleanliness, location, and a room large enough to set up my son's medical travel bed. My son who has severe, multiple disabilities had 5 doctor appointments over the course of 2 days. I chose this hotel based on its proximity to Mass General Hospital and the airport.
